At Sunny Driving School, we offer lessons in both manual and automatic cars. In today’s world, we’re seeing fewer manual vehicles and more automatics, but don’t be mistaken — across Europe, most cars on the road are still manual.

The value of a manual driving licence over an automatic licence:

Even if you don’t plan on driving a manual car after getting your licence, it’s important to know that if you take your driving test in an automatic, you are not allowed to drive a manual car. Your licence will only be valid for automatic vehicles, which can limit your options when it comes to transport.

The value of automatic driving lessons over manual lessons:

Roads are becoming increasingly busy, so driving an automatic can significantly reduce stress and tension for many people. You can fully focus on the traffic while the car does most of the work. If you feel anxious in traffic, want to get your driver’s license as quickly as possible, or simply have no interest in learning how to drive a manual, then automatic lessons might be the perfect choice for you.
